This program is to lighten the emotional load.

Introduction

Welcome, all! You are about to take a journey to explore new (and old!) paths, discover fresh perspectives, and create

possibilities.

Through self-study, you will look at any beliefs, fears, reactions, and desires that limit you and prevent you from

living fully, authentically, and joyfully. Through regular practice, you will open doors to look within at the many different facets of your life.

  •  You will uncover “masks” you made for yourself to protect yourself and survive in this world that you will no longer need.
  • You will create the awareness and balance of a clear and understanding mind.
  • You will learn to let go of the past, begin to release what you no longer need, and plant the seeds of new experiences.

Through this process, you will gain the courage, aliveness, and creativity to touch, move and inspire yourself and others.  As you leave the old mechanical habits behind, you will become more conscious and aware, and you will feel the release of tension from your body. Feeling “at home” within yourself, you will experience peace, unity, and deep joy. You will be in touch with that place inside yourself where YOU are a Joyful Being!

What keeps us from experiencing TRUTH, BLISS, AND HAPPINESS?

What keeps us from experiencing truth, bliss and happiness are obstructions both obvious and subtle and through these obstructions, a disharmony is created within us.

HUDDLES

  • Hidden conflicts
  • Unknowledgeable suffering
  • The deep feeling of alienation
  • Despair
  • Loneliness
  • Emotional disturbances
  • The separation that lodges itself as emotional trauma

Looking Within

What does it mean to look within?

  • Looking within is stepping into an internal realm. You become a witness to your own acts. Every category of self-investigation.  In this program, it has techniques to assist you in creating internal balance. You will look at what emotions are “stuck” and trace the feelings back to the original event where you made a “stand” about who you were or what life was about. You will see rationalizations, justifications or even excuses as to why you have taken those stands.

The word “stand” seems to indicate an immovable, unchangeable but by looking within, you will find your

“stands” are simply patterns of reactions and behaviors you took on based on past situations or experiences, and therefore completely within your power to change when the time is right for you.. Looking within is an act of integrity with yourself. It allows those patterns of reactions and behaviors to take a rest long enough to look one step deeper...to your thoughts and feelings at the moment of the incident. What were you thinking and feeling right

before you reacted?

But it’s dark and scary in there!

Many of us have spent most of our lives avoiding that look within. We deny, repress, and suppress our feelings and pain of the past. We distract ourselves with work, play, sex, alcohol, drugs, food, shopping, watching hours and hours of television, surfing the internet, stressing about money, getting caught up in gossip (drama!) about who said and did what to whom, and much much more!

Looking within is a practice. The more you practice the farther back you can go, step by step. You can begin breaking the cycles of your own reactions, justifications and “stuck mind”. Soon you will see a place where you are free to act on your own will, as your own joyful being.
